Awakenings Coffee and Wine is a gem of a coffee shop that perfectly embodies the charm and vibrancy of Hyde Park Square. This locally owned treasure offers much more than just exceptional coffee—though their brews are undeniably top-notch. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur, a wine enthusiast, or someone who simply loves great vibes, Awakenings has it all. The ambiance is unbeatable. The art-filled interior creates an inspiring and cozy space, while the outdoor seating overlooking Hyde Park Square is ideal for soaking in the beauty of the neighborhood. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, relax with a book, or enjoy a bit of people-watching. Our group of 23 members and friends from The Rotary Club of Cincinnati had the pleasure of hosting our monthly Neighborhood Coffee Networking Event here, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Awakenings perfectly captures the essence of community, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. It’s clear that they are as passionate about fostering connections as they are about crafting the perfect cup of coffee. Unbeknownst to us, a member of The Rotary Club of Cincinnati is the silent partner who actually owns Awakenings—a terrific surprise and delight we did not know about until the event! And speaking of beverages—Awakenings does not disappoint. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and their wine selection is fabulous, offering something for every palate. Pair that with their delicious baked goods, and you have a recipe for pure delight. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Awakenings Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. It’s more than a coffee shop; it’s a celebration of art, flavor, and community. Highly recommend! Please join us for our next Neighborhood Coffee Event in December. UPDATE: One of the AED units we gave away last Thursday was deployed over the weekend. IT SAVED A LIFE!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
🚨 Making a Life-Saving Impact: Project Heart ReStart Launches Phase 4! 🚨 The Rotary Club of Cincinnati and Project Heart ReStart in a joint effort woth Rotary Clubs in Northern Kentucky, have taken another monumental step in creating a safer and healthier community. We are thrilled to announce the launch of Phase 4, which introduces 168 additional AEDs (automated external defibrillators) to law enforcement agencies in Northern Kentucky. This incredible milestone brings the total to over 400 AEDs distributed across the region! These life-saving devices aren’t just tools—they are lifelines. It’s not a matter of if they’ll save lives—it’s a matter of when. And the impact is already real: lives have been saved thanks to this initiative. Law enforcement officers are often first on the scene in emergencies, and equipping them with AEDs ensures they have the resources to act swiftly and effectively when every second counts. Together, we are empowering first responders and creating a stronger, more prepared community. A huge thank you to WLWT News 5 for covering this incredible story and to every individual and partner who has supported Project Heart ReStart. This initiative is proof that when we come together for a common cause, we can truly make a difference. Let’s keep the momentum going. 💓 Here's a link to this inspiring milestone and how lives are being saved here: https://lnkd.in/gqscZP95 Josh Vogel Rocke Saccone Colleen Clark Steve King Jack Scott Eric Pettway, CFA Lisa Lickert Ed Mathis Chuck Martz Brian B.
