It's a time that offers plenty of opportunities to observe, raise awareness, and even celebrate❗ The first Breast Cancer Awareness Month was held in October 1985 📌 , initiated as a partnership between the American Cancer Society and Imperial Chemical Industries (now AstraZeneca). 💬 This event was established to encourage women to get breast cancer screenings and mammograms, during a time when discussing breast cancer was often considered taboo. Since breast cancer survivors wore pink ribbons during the 1990 New York marathon and a charity was established to support research and awareness, millions of dollars have been donated to help find a cure 🌸 . 🩺 Make sure to set aside time for breast cancer screenings and general lab tests. Breast Cancer Awareness Month encourages women to prioritize their health by scheduling a mammogram. 🏃 Consider participating in a fundraising event, like a marathon (5K, 10K—whatever distance is comfortable for you). 🩷 The pink ribbon, a universal symbol of breast cancer awareness, not only raises awareness but also unites people in solidarity. It serves as a simple yet powerful way to show support for loved ones and to hope for a brighter future.

I am incredibly excited to share the first big meeting innovation we’ve launched since I joined Rumi.ai in February - Meeting Memory™! Imagine connecting Chat GPT to your entire meeting history, and then asking it to do things for you with all the information it’s gathered. It’s pretty amazing, and every day we are finding new ways this can help us do our jobs better and faster. Here’s a quick example: yesterday I asked my Meeting Memory to create a training plan for a new employee that starting next week. With 280 hours of meeting context, it easily nailed the training content, the format, and even the other people that this person should meet with in about 15 seconds. This would have easily taken me a 4 hours to do the old way, and with just 15 minutes of tweaking and customizing, it was perfect. It even suggested a few sessions I wouldn’t have thought of, so it’s a clear improvement too. This is one of many ways Meeting Memory is rewiring the way I work. This July, let’s come together to celebrate the individuals who make a world of difference every day. Of course, you don’t have to focus on this topic only during this one month, it’s worth spending time on good care year-round. 📜 History: Good Care Month originated from the U.K.'s healthcare system after World War II, with the founding of the NHS. Helen Whately was the the Minister of State for Social Care and she was responsible for lots of very important things such as: ❗ Urgent and emergency care, including ambulances ❗ Adult social care: 🔹 social care workforce 🔹 social care system assurance and data 🔹 social care tech and innovation This month is a wonderful reason for a community get-together.
