Over the past year, RDM Africa has embarked on an inspiring journey in South Sudan, bringing financial inclusion to life in partnership with MTN FinTech South Sudan and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Our team has worked tirelessly to bridge gaps and address the real needs of customers and merchants, ensuring that our services remain safe, reliable, affordable, and accessible for all. This commitment has fueled impactful change, driving us closer to a future where everyone can fully participate in a thriving, cashless economy.
Starting from simple services like airtime top-ups, our offerings have now expanded to transform the merchant space. With major local banks—Kush Bank, Afriland First Bank, Eco Bank, and Alpha Bank—now connected, users can also easily transfer funds in and out of their bank accounts. Today, MTN FinTech South Sudan is more than a telecom; it’s a part of everyday life in Juba and beyond, helping drive the cashless economy forward.
Our journey wouldn’t be complete without recognizing the local businesses—from the first small restaurant to bustling petrol stations, hotels, and shops—that have embraced MoMo Pay. Together, we’re building a digital economy that’s accessible, impactful, and truly transformational for last-mile communities.
And we’re just getting started! The path to a fully inclusive, cashless future is bright, and RDM Africa is excited to keep moving forward with our partners, team, and communities across South Sudan.
