The Philadelphia coalition removed race from a clinical equation that calculates the severity of kidney disease, resulting in hundreds of patients moving up or onto the kidney transplant list. The coalition includes: Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Doylestown Health, Grand View Health, Jefferson Health, Main Line Health, Nemours Children’s Health System, Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Redeemer Health, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, Temple Health – Temple University Health System, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, and Virtua Health.
