Paul is a Principal at the firm and provides oversight and quality assurance of the structural engineering design of many of our projects in the healthcare, educational, industrial, and municipal markets. He is currently serving as Principal-in-Charge of Structural Engineering for the University at Buffalo School of Engineering & Applied Sciences Building Project, Renovations to Tarrytown Public Schools, and for several housing, parking structure, and industrial projects. Chad Reinemann celebrates his 13th anniversary at Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis. We are excited to announce the launch of our new weekly #SynthesisSnapshot series, which celebrates Synthesis Architects and 35 years of design excellence! The renovation of the downtown Albany arena was a game-changer for the community, driven by the collaboration between Synthesis Architects, Albany County, formerly the Times Union Center (now the The MVP Arena ), GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., and Ryan Biggs | Clark Davis Engineering & Surveying, D.P.C.. Originally opened as the Knickerbocker Arena on January 30, 1990, and famous for hosting legends like Frank Sinatra, this venue has long been a cornerstone of Albany’s cultural landscape, accommodating between 6,000 and 17,500 visitors for a variety of events. The design team embarked on a bold vision to provide patrons with an amazing fan experience. This renovation not only modernized the arena’s interior atrium but also transformed the exterior of the building into an inviting, dynamic space that encourages socializing and excitement before and after events. This is an exciting new era for the building, where unforgettable experiences and lasting memories await! Most recently, the MVP Arena showcased the NCAA Women’s Basketball Sweet 16 and Elite 8 tournament, featuring the standout Caitlin Clark from the Iowa Hawkeyes. The excitement in the arena was palpable as fans filled every seat for the entire tournament. Rourk Marlow, P.E., has rejoined the staff as a Professional Engineer. He previously spent nearly four years at the firm. Rourk holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Hartford’s College of Engineering. Rourk has worked in the field for over seven years and holds a professional engineering license from the State of Connecticut. Since rejoining the staff, Rourk has been providing structural engineering design and management of projects in the commercial, municipal, educational, and industrial market sectors.
