Anchoring Lives Through Christ!
About us
Safe Harbor is a Christ centered community for rebuilding, renewing and recovery. We offer a variety of programs and classes to inspire everyone we encounter to a thriving and purposeful life in Christ. Whole Woman Residential Program - Our unique one-year program takes women deeper than sobriety by focusing on holistic healing in an intentional Christ-centered community aimed at long-term recovery. Greenleaf Transitional Housing Program - Provides low-cost, furnished, clean and safe apartments in a community for women and children looking for structure and support while preparing for successful independent living as they are offered services and taught life skills. Community Center - The Community Center is located in the lower level and offers a safe place for women and children who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk for experiencing homelessness, to access an array of services through a trained Services Navigator as well as providing meals, showers, laundry facilities, internet access, and transportation. Renewal Center - The Renewal Center offers On Purpose Classes, which are designed to help women in our programs and our community discover their purpose in life, their identity in Christ and experience freedom. It is a venue for co-ed support groups, Grace for Days Workshops, exercise groups, and other groups. Safe Harbor’s ReSource Warehouse - ReSource Warehouse is a social enterprise operated under the umbrella of Safe Harbor. We provide job training and experience to Safe Harbor program participants. All revenue goes back to Safe Harbor. Our Core Values: Integrity, Compassion, Humility, Collaboration, and Empowerment

For women experiencing homelessness, the inability to afford professional clothing can create significant barriers to employment. First impressions matter, and professional attire often gives candidates an edge in interviews. Additionally, many jobs require specific uniforms or clothing, such as non-slip shoes, steel-toed boots, or business attire—items that are out of reach for those struggling to make ends meet. By visiting safeharbornc.org and giving an end-of-year gift, you can help women step confidently into the workforce with the resources and tools necessary to grow professionally and build a brighter future. #SafeHarborHope #BreakingBarriers #EndHomelessness
