Anchoring Lives Through Christ!
About us
Safe Harbor is a Christ centered community for rebuilding, renewing and recovery. We offer a variety of programs and classes to inspire everyone we encounter to a thriving and purposeful life in Christ. Whole Woman Residential Program - Our unique one-year program takes women deeper than sobriety by focusing on holistic healing in an intentional Christ-centered community aimed at long-term recovery. Greenleaf Transitional Housing Program - Provides low-cost, furnished, clean and safe apartments in a community for women and children looking for structure and support while preparing for successful independent living as they are offered services and taught life skills. Community Center - The Community Center is located in the lower level and offers a safe place for women and children who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk for experiencing homelessness, to access an array of services through a trained Services Navigator as well as providing meals, showers, laundry facilities, internet access, and transportation. Renewal Center - The Renewal Center offers On Purpose Classes, which are designed to help women in our programs and our community discover their purpose in life, their identity in Christ and experience freedom. It is a venue for co-ed support groups, Grace for Days Workshops, exercise groups, and other groups. Safe Harbor’s ReSource Warehouse - ReSource Warehouse is a social enterprise operated under the umbrella of Safe Harbor. We provide job training and experience to Safe Harbor program participants. All revenue goes back to Safe Harbor. Our Core Values: Integrity, Compassion, Humility, Collaboration, and Empowerment

For women experiencing homelessness, the inability to afford professional clothing can create significant barriers to employment. First impressions matter, and professional attire often gives candidates an edge in interviews. Additionally, many jobs require specific uniforms or clothing, such as non-slip shoes, steel-toed boots, or business attire—items that are out of reach for those struggling to make ends meet. By visiting safeharbornc.org and giving an end-of-year gift, you can help women step confidently into the workforce with the resources and tools necessary to grow professionally and build a brighter future. #SafeHarborHope #BreakingBarriers #EndHomelessness

Education is a right, not a privilege—but for many children, barriers like transportation, clean clothes, and basic supplies make it feel out of reach. Your end-of-year gift to Safe Harbor changes that by providing resources for women and the children in our residential communities. Together, we can create a future of hope and opportunity. For many people experiencing homelessness, something as simple as an address becomes a barrier to moving forward. Without a permanent address, individuals can't obtain essential documents like IDs, Social Security cards, or driver’s licenses. Without those, securing a job becomes nearly impossible. And without a job, finding stable housing is a far-off dream. At Safe Harbor, we’re helping break this cycle by assisting women and children in obtaining these critical documents, setting up job interviews, providing transportation to interviews, and helping them work towards employment and stable housing. Your generous end of year gift can make a real difference by helping us continue this vital work. Visit SafeHarborNC.org today to learn how you can help turn our mission into action. Together, we can provide the resources to help individuals rebuild and thrive. #SafeHarborNC #EndOfYearGiving #BreakTheCycle
