Welcome back to #FedTechConversations! This week, we’re spotlighting a major update in #FederalIT modernization. The Technology Modernization Fund (TMF) has awarded $19.67 million to the DOJ and OPM to upgrade legacy systems. DOJ will modernize immigration case management and enhance data-sharing with DHS agencies, while OPM will overhaul its retirement systems to benefit 2.8 million federal annuity recipients and address security risks. With #TMF projects boasting an 80% success rate, this funding highlights the impact of targeted investments in driving #innovation and #efficiency in government technology.
