  • Greetings from Breckenridge! 🎿 As I carve my way down the slopes, I'm reminded how skiing and life have a lot in common. You never know what’s waiting around the corner—bumpy terrain, smooth runs, or unexpected challenges. It’s the same with your organization’s culture. Are you prepared to handle the surprises? Whether it’s welcoming new team members, celebrating wins, or addressing challenges, a strong culture requires preparation and intention. So, here’s my question for you: What are you doing to protect, celebrate, and sustain your workplace culture? #momentum #momentumbook #BeAccountable #Accountability #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #AccountabilitySpeaker #KeynoteSpeaker #MotivationalSpeaker #HallofFameSpeaker

  • Check out this video I took yesterday on Coronado Island! The beginning of the year always feels like a fresh start—a chance to reflect and set intentions for how I want to grow. As the sun set on New Year's Day, I asked myself: ✨ How can I grow as a person, father, husband, friend, and leader? ✨ How can I be more accountable and model that for others? Now I’m challenging YOU: Take a moment to reflect. What’s one way you’ll grow this year? How will you make the world, your community, and your relationships just a little better? Let’s start this year with purpose and make every day count. #momentum #momentumbook #BeAccountable #Accountability #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #AccountabilitySpeaker #KeynoteSpeaker #MotivationalSpeaker #HallofFameSpeaker

  • Greetings from La Jolla Cove, California! As I watched the sea lions, I couldn’t help but think about culture. These animals have it figured out—they stick together, warm up, and thrive as a pod. What about your organization? Have you figured it out? Nurturing your culture isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s a game-changer. When you invest in your people, you create a ripple effect: a stronger team, happier customers, and a healthier bottom line. What’s one thing you’re doing this week to strengthen your company’s culture? #momentum #momentumbook #BeAccountable #Accountability #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #AccountabilitySpeaker #KeynoteSpeaker #MotivationalSpeaker #HallofFameSpeaker

  • Standing on the deck of the USS Midway, I’m reminded of the power of culture to drive success. This aircraft carrier operated with 5,000 people working together toward a mission, guided by the Navy’s core values: honor, service, and commitment. It’s a powerful example of how shared values create alignment and purpose. In your organization, have you defined your culture? Are your values clear and actionable? Do they guide decisions every day? When your culture is purposeful—on purpose and for a purpose—it aligns your team and propels you toward your mission. What are you doing to ensure your culture works for you? I’d love to hear your thoughts. #momentum #momentumbook #BeAccountable #Accountability #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #AccountabilitySpeaker #KeynoteSpeaker #MotivationalSpeaker #HallofFameSpeaker

  • In a recent poll conducted by The Accountability Institute, 45 percent of the respondents said that the greatest benefit of having momentum in your life is “Stronger Relationships.” People are naturally attracted to people who are high-performers and who appear to “have it together” in their lives. Relationships open doors, provide an opportunity for you to serve, and are the cornerstone of building bridges from where you are to where you are trying to go. Creating and building momentum is foundational for personal and organizational growth. #momentum #momentumbook #BeAccountable #Accountability #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #AccountabilitySpeaker #KeynoteSpeaker #MotivationalSpeaker #HallofFameSpeaker

  • The most important and natural way that people begin to trust each other is through values. If you see someone on the street stealing from a hotdog stand, you immediately form a judgment of that person based on the value that they are embodying: dishonesty. Alternatively, if you see someone help an old person cross the street, you are likely to see them in a positive light because of the kindness that they are living. Similarly, in the workplace, employees form judgments about their leaders based on the values they see them embody. If a leader consistently demonstrates integrity, fairness, and respect, employees will be more inclined to trust them. On the other hand, if a leader’s actions are inconsistent with their words or values, trust erodes quickly. If you say the organization has a specific set of values and you either are not living them or are not ensuring that everyone in the organization is living them, the employees will question your integrity. Remember, your employees are always watching you. You are the one that they look to when in doubt about the organization, and it is up to you to model the behavior that you want to see. Ensure that the organization’s values align with what you would want your employees to live. Live these values in every decision that you make, and soon, your employees will not only trust you but also begin to embody these values in their daily lives as well. #momentum #momentumbook #BeAccountable #Accountability #Leadership #WorkplaceCulture #AccountabilitySpeaker #KeynoteSpeaker #MotivationalSpeaker #HallofFameSpeaker
