Dallas has developed deep expertise in the specialized field of aluminum and glass engineering over his two-decade career. His portfolio includes managing numerous large-scale projects, with many valued at $10 million each. In fact, these high-value projects comprise approximately 50% of his professional experience, demonstrating his ability to handle complex, high-stakes assignments. His specialization in curtain wall design brings a unique skill set to our organization. This niche expertise, combined with his broad experience in structural engineering and project management, positions Dallas to tackle a wide range of projects and challenges. U of A Fall 2024 Civil & Architectural Engineering Career Night

CAPSTONE COLLEGIATE HOUSE RELOCATION Schneider Structural Engineers is proud to be a part of this historical move. In partnership with Ankrom Moisan and JJSC, LLC, SSE conducted a thorough review of the existing structures to evaluate their ability to withstand relocation. This is a crucial first step in any building relocation project, as it helps identify potential weaknesses or areas that may need reinforcement before the move. After determining the structures could be safely moved, SSE designed permanent foundations to support the homes in their new locations. This step was essential to ensure the long-term stability and integrity of the relocated buildings. Great care was taken to replicate the historic look of the original foundations for all five structures. SSE is honored to receive the 2024 Structural Engineering Excellence Award for Outstanding Project at the SEAoA 58th Anniversary Convention. The Winged Melody Tensile Shade Sculpture is an innovative Tensile Shade Sculpture in Aurora, Colorado, designed by G.H. Bruce, LLC. It is distinctive bow-shaped design and large volume shade fabric presented unique structural challenges. The design team overcame these challenges, such as accommodating snow loads and high winds, through creative solutions like a customized baseplate connection to the concrete monuments and a cable and pulley system inside the structure itself to unfurl the shade fabric. The sculpture's clean lines make it a testament to the power of thoughtful design to enhance the lives of those who experience it. #elegantsolutions
