Celebrating Longstanding Client Partnerships   We recently had the honour of hosting Commodore Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Shabibi of the Royal Yachts of the Royal Court Affairs at our Admiralty Yard in Singapore.   The friendship between Seatrium, the Royal Yachts of the Royal Court Affairs, and the Sultanate of Oman dates back more than three decades ago since 1992. To celebrate this special friendship between both organisations, Commodore Abdullah Bin Nasser Al Shabibi of the Royal Yachts of the Royal Court Affairs warmly presented Seatrium with a wonderful gift of a Date Palm Tree during on his recent visit to our yard. A tree planting ceremony attended by Commodore Abdullah and Alvin Gan, our Executive Vice President, Repairs & Upgrades was held to mark this historic moment. The date palm, which symbolizes prosperity and resilience, demonstrates the commitment to deepen our partnership, nurture and grow a stronger bond together between our people.    Our appreciation goes to Commodore Abdullah and the Royal Yachts of the Royal Court Affairs for the warmth, grace and trust!

Seatrium and Cochin Shipyard Collaborate on Jack-Up Rigs   We are excited to announce that Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and Seatrium Letourneau USA, Inc. (SLET) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly design and supply critical equipment for jack-up rigs for the Indian market.   Leveraging CSL’s extensive experience in ship construction and engineering and SLET’s renowned technical expertise and design capabilities, this partnership aims to deliver cutting-edge offshore drilling Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODUs) specifically designed to meet the needs of the Indian market.   This collaboration represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to advancing India’s offshore energy industry with innovative, reliable, and efficient solutions. 🌐 Seatrium Welcomes GCC Board Directors Institute Delegation for Insightful Visit to Tuas Boulevard Yard 🌐   Seatrium is honoured to host a senior delegation from the GCC Board Directors Institute (GCC BDI) recently at our flagship Tuas Boulevard Yard in Singapore. GCC BDI is a leading organization in the Gulf region focused on enhancing board directors' capabilities and promoting best practices in corporate governance.   The visit was part of a 4-day study trip to Singapore including visiting Singapore Exchange (SGX), Stewardship Asia Centre, UAE-Singapore Business Council and other leading organisations. The Seatrium team provided an engaging introduction to the marine and offshore industry, our deep engineering expertise and technology, and shared our commitment to advancing sustainable practices in the offshore and marine industry, followed by insightful discussions on the emerging regulations and industry trends in the energy sector. The delegation showed strong interest in our commitment to innovation and sustainability in the maritime sector.    The visit concluded with an impressive tour of our Tuas Boulevard Yard, where the delegation explored Seatrium’s state-of-the-art facilities and diverse operations. 🌍 Seatrium at the Forefront of Energy Transition & Maritime Decarbonization 🌍 At the recent SNIC 2024 conference hosted by the Norwegian Embassy, the Norwegian Business Association in Singapore, and Innovation Norway, Aziz Merchant, Executive Vice President Engineering, Technology & New Product Development, delivered a keynote on "The Future of Energy Transition and Sustainability", emphasizing Seatrium’s contributions to offshore wind technology and the decarbonization of the maritime and energy sectors. Key Highlights: 🌊 Floating Offshore Wind: Seatrium is advancing floating offshore wind technology to unlock energy potential in deeper waters, enabling scalable renewable energy solutions. ⚙️ Offshore Substations: With significant experience in building offshore substations, Seatrium is contributing towards the global energy transition, supporting our clients in facilitating the transmission of clean energy from wind farms to onshore grids.
