According to the findings, the share of dual-format (eBL and paper) adoption has grown significantly, increasing from 33.0% to 49.2%. This milestone highlights the industry’s collective effort to streamline operations, reduce reliance on physical documentation, and enhance efficiency across supply chains.

2025: A New Chapter Begins
As we step into 2025, I can’t help but reflect on the whirlwind that was 2024. It was a year of extraordinary challenges and achievements: stabilizing a growing team, elevating our platform to enterprise-grade security, winning our first XXL clients, raising funds, and exploring new product opportunities.
This morning, during my workout, it hit me—what the Secro team has accomplished is truly remarkable. We’ve built something incredible. Personally, I’ve surpassed goals I thought were impossible just a year ago. And yet, I’ve often struggled to fully appreciate it, weighed down by the inevitable hurdles:
• Rejections from investors
• Hesitations from prospective clients and partners
• Setbacks in hiring and collaborations
I’ve made the mistake—too many times—of letting these challenges obscure the power and beauty of what we’ve built. Over the past three years, alongside an amazing team and incredible partners, we’ve created something I’m profoundly proud of.
So here’s my 2025 intention:
Entrepreneurship is an extraordinary journey. It’s about more than building a product, a team, or a distribution network—it’s about the people you meet, the skills you learn, and the resilience you cultivate. Success isn’t guaranteed, but the process is worth every ounce of effort.
To the Secro team, our investors, shareholders, customers, and partners: thank you for your trust, your support, and your belief in this vision. You’ve made this journey as rewarding as it is challenging.
Let’s make 2025 a year of resilience, success, and fulfillment—together.
P.S. The video is a throwback to Secro’s 2023 offsite in Krakow. In 2024, our team doubled in size, and I can’t wait to capture the energy of our 2025 all-hands event—complete with drone footage!

Leaders of the countries representing 60% of global trade committing to promoting the #eBL is not something to be taken for granted.
There has never been a time of such momentum to go #paperless.
#digitaltrade
Achieving 100% electronic Bill of Lading #eBL recently got another major step closer to becoming reality when global leaders committed to enabling and promoting the eBL.
The leaders of the 21 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation #APEC member economies – who together account for 60% of global trade - concluded their meeting in Lima, Peru, by issuing their Machu Pichu Declaration, which affirms their commitment to enhancing supply chain connectivity. In particular, the leaders want to enhance transparency, efficiency, and reliability of trade by digitalising key processes, and the recognition of electronic trade-related documents, such as the eBL.
Thomas Bagge, CEO of #DCSA, said, “At DCSA, we are proud and honoured to contribute to this great milestone in trade digitalisation and remain equally committed to achieving 100% eBL by collaboration with all stakeholders of global supply chains.”
To read more about the Machu Pichu Declaration and its impact on the digitalisation of global trade, including comments from Office of the U.S. Trade Representative and Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru.
