Taking the stage now, Yvonne Foy, Contract Training Officer at Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board. Yvonne highlights the phased approach of the National MMC Demonstration Park and the importance of businesses engaging with ETBs to build a future-ready workforce. She stresses the need for companies to give their staff the time to participate in training, ensuring both individual and industry growth. Yvonne also highlights how Skillnet MMC Accelerate is playing a pivotal role in addressing these challenges, acknowledging that it’s often hard to get people to take time for training.
