25 Water Street is the largest office-to-residential conversion by unit count in US history. This project features a complete facade renovation of the existing 22-story brick-clad building, along with the addition of a 10-story overbuild. Skyline Windows is playing a key role in this landmark conversion, designing, manufacturing, and installing new thermally improved Series 520 Punched Window & Window Wall systems, as well as Series 1720 Terrace Doors. These systems were integrated into existing and newly renovated brick openings with recessed bay patterns, new lightwell openings, and steel-framed openings. Additionally, Skyline coordinated the design and installation of aluminum composite wall panels, ensuring they integrated perfectly with the window wall system. We’re excited to continue following the progress of this monumental project! Skyline Windows, Vishal Ramdhanny, John Misoulis, Anisah Abdullah, Owen Beaudoin

Step inside the iconic Surrey Hotel at 20 East 76th Street. For this gut rehab project, Skyline designed a custom Series 500 offset casement - the first of its kind - offering the timeless look of a double hung window with the modern functionality of a casement (fixed over operable). We also provided Series 1700 outswing terrace doors. This Manhattan landmark underwent an extensive redesign, and we’re honored to have played a role in this transformation. From replacing all of the windows to installing terrace doors, every element was meticulously crafted to preserve and enhance the charm of this nearly century-old treasure. 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥-𝐭𝐨-𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧! 160 Water Street, a former 24-story office building, has been tranformed into over 500 market-rate rental apartments. Skyline Windows was proud to play a key role in this renovation, enhancing the building’s facade with our Series 500 thermally improved inswing casement windows featuring bird-friendly glazing. We also cladded the exterior by providing custom extruded mullion covers and aluminum brake metal panels above and below each window via exterior scaffolding. A unique aspect of this project was that all mechanical floors with exterior louvers were removed and new windows were installed on the facade, creating a seamless curtain wall appearance. 160 Water, November 2020 | 160 Water, September 2024 Kevin Barnes, Mario Bellino, Tony Misoulis, PMP

Skyline Windows, a 103-year-old family business with $100 million in annual sales, has designed, manufactured, and installed windows for iconic buildings such as Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building, the Pierre Hotel, the San Remo, and thousands more. CEO Matthew Kraus, who has led the firm since 2022, said New Yorkers prize windows that let in sunlight while blocking noise. They prefer large, unblemished screens that allow fresh air but keep dust at bay. In other words, New Yorkers want a permanent, silent movie view from their apartment. Skyline now sees new opportunities emerging due to a city law requiring buildings to reduce carbon emissions by 2030. For many landlords, replacing drafty windows will be part of the solution. According to Kraus, windows are a significant expense for buildings, accounting for 2% to 8% of the cost in a new $100 million tower. "The good news is, windows last a long time," he added, "if they’re made and installed right." Read more: https://lnkd.in/e_ufmAHy

We're so excited to be a part of this project. Take a look at this gorgeous high-rise in the heart of Nashville. Pullman at Gulch Union showcases a mix of traditional, architectural precast and GateLite panels accented with an array of windows allowing views from anywhere in the building. As part of the only urban district in the south to achieve LEED certification, an emphasis was placed on sustainability. Because our precast concrete is produced in a controlled environment and our products aid with efficiency, we were able to assist the project with its sustainability goals and help reduce carbon footprint.
