So happy for the Smile File team. Eric Nelson & Lily did an incredible job pitching to the judges and answering on the spot questions. What a great experience.
SmileFile is a digital portal that allows dentists to provide their patients with secure, mobile access to their treatment plans and dental records. Thus, improving patient education, financial results, and dental outcomes. In the US alone, there are 140,000 dental practices providing a highly informative, digital, in-office experience BUT...when the patient leaves the office, that experience simply stops. SmileFile is closing this gap and is optimizing office efficiency by integrating the in-office data into a personalized portal for each patient.

I am excited to share the entrepreneurial journey and experience of one of our sons, Eric, a business student at the University of Louisville. He is days away from competing in the ACC Inventure Competition, a national level innovation event where talented and committed college students present their business ideas for input, judging, and funding. These types of events are great inspiration and catalysts for future business and innovation leaders and it is very gratifying to see how Eric, Brad, and Ronan are working and learning. Their focus is to help dentists and patients connect and achieve better oral health outcomes. He won the Louisville competition and this week will present at the national event. He has put together the attached video and information as there is a People’s Choice Award, which allows anyone to cast a vote for their favorite venture. If you like his idea he would be grateful for your vote. SmileFile Thank you for your interest and awareness of this part of our innovation system. Bill Here is how you can help: 1.
