  • Attending Social Media Day Delaware? Here are a few fast things you should know: Will there be parking? Yes! Limited designated parking will be available for conference attendees on the University of Delaware campus. Simply follow your GPS to the venue location, and then follow signage in the parking area to find the appropriate lot. Visitors may enter the STAR Campus South Entrance by turning at the intersection of South College Avenue and Discovery Boulevard (across from Field House). Then, take the first right and follow the lane around (curves to the left) past the main entrance of the STAR Tower to the stop sign. At the stop sign, continue straight and cross over the service road into the parking area. What should I wear to the conference? Come as you are! Casual? Business casual? Wear what works for you. We hope attendees feel comfortable to express their personal style. Choose clothing that allows you to move freely and feel confident! A friendly reminder: To help reduce waste, please bring your corporate name tag. If you don't have one, we'll provide a badge at the registration desk.

  • We are so excited to have Jaymi Carnazza (or jaymiknowsfun on Instagram) as one of our panelists at Social Media Day Delaware! If you live in or around Delaware, chances are she's helped you find a weekend activity or two! Jaymi Carnazza is a second generation Puerto Rican-Italian from New York. Jaymi spent most of her time growing up between Long Island, NY and Clearwater, FL. Having lived and learned in Thailand, NYC and Miami, Jaymi decided to base her home roots in Delaware. Jaymi fell in love with the small town feel of Delaware, while still having the ability to enjoy major city action in close, neighboring big cities. Jaymiknowsfun was established in 2023 as a way to showcase and highlight all the fun around Delaware. The idea to dedicate an Instagram page to finding fun things to do in Delaware came from the fact that every time Jaymi looked up things to do online, most of them were located in Philly, NYC, or Baltimore. Jaymi felt there was a lack of marketing and advertising on all that Delaware had to offer, and thus, Jaymiknowsfun was born.

  • You probably know him as The Black Plant Man on Instagram and TikTok, but we know him as a Delawarean making waves on social media! He also happens to be one of our amazing panelists! In the world of plants, there's The Black Plantman (Durrell Eastland)—part gardener, part comedian, and full-time plant parent extraordinaire. Born and raised in Delaware, far from the rolling hills and verdant valleys typically associated with gardening, he didn't exactly have a green thumb handed down from generations past. In fact, he was more likely to turn plants into unintentional bonsais than nurture them to full bloom. TheBlackPlantMan's Instagram is more than just a place for plant lovers— it's a community, a refuge for those who've accidentally drowned a succulent or two in their quest for botanical greatness. From his humble beginnings as a plant novice to his current status as a plant influencer, he's come a long way. But one thing remains the same: his unwavering love for all things green and his commitment to making the world a greener, funnier place, one plant at a time.
