She is also a motivational speaker and career curator, where she helps others see their potential and ambitions in their careers. In a world where overcommitment is often mistaken for dedication, learning to say “no” can be one of the most empowering skills for personal and professional growth. This breakout session dives deep into The Art of No, providing participants with actionable strategies to set boundaries effectively without damaging relationships or professionalism. What You’ll Learn: •How to confidently and respectfully say “no” in various situations, from workplace requests to personal obligations. •The mindset shift needed to interpret rejection from others as an opportunity for growth rather than a personal failure. •Techniques to identify your priorities and protect your time and energy, ensuring that your “yes” is meaningful. By the end of the session, participants will feel empowered to advocate for themselves, embrace the power of “no,” and create space for what truly matters in their lives. January 2025's event is now open for registraiton! Our brains think. Brains seek out patterned behaviors that work well and put them on autopilot, so we can enact them without having to use our conscious attention. When we get stuck, we try to think and converse our way out. And often, we stay stuck. Our bodies have an awareness of their own, somatic intelligence. Our body is also “a brain”. Learning to leverage embodied intelligence gives us a new tool to manage emotions and behavior. It’s about exploring the relationships between our bodies, our brains and our behaviors to more fully live into our potential. Join us to better understand this amazing brain – body connection and explore things that you can do to access and manage emotions and behavior – let’s reset and renew for the new year!
