Here to start us off is Gary Carr - SPE Blow Molding Division - Director 🌟   Gary has worked in the blow molding industry for almost 40 years. After graduating from Ferris State University with a B.S. degree in Plastics Engineering Technology in 1985, he has held numerous technical sales, marketing, and sales management positions. Gary is currently Vice President of Sales for Bekum America Corporation For the last 25 years he has served as a director of the Blow Molding Division of the SPE. Gary Carr has personally chaired or co-chaired numerous SPE Annual Blow Molding Conferences (ABC), the industry’s preeminent forum for the latest in Blow Molding technology, including his first in 1999 at the School of Packaging at Michigan State University. Giving back to the blow molding industry through educational support is Gary’s motivation for his volunteer activities with the Blow Molding Division Board. To date, the Blow Molding Division’s ongoing support of plastic education programs has assisted 63 students from 8 different Colleges/Universities receiving scholarships totaling well over $ 300,000. Gary prides himself on being actively involved from concept-to-production-ready extrusion blow molding solutions and considers product and process innovations to be key in future business opportunities.
