January Spice~y Spotlight Meet Jonathan Bennett (JB)! JB has been our Chief Culinary Officer at Spice Hospitality Group since October 2020. With a career that includes roles as VP + Executive Chef at Red Restaurant Group + leading concept development at Hyde Park Restaurant Group, JB’s culinary expertise is top-notch. Growing up on a North Carolina farm, JB’s love for cooking started young—he was working in kitchens by age 13. After training at the Culinary Institute of America, he landed in Cleveland in 1997 + quickly became a staple of the local restaurant scene. With 17 restaurant openings under his belt, JB’s approach to menu creation is all about precision—down to the gram. JB mixes data-driven decisions + a true passion for hospitality to lead our team. He’s also known for throwing in a tune or two while leading the charge. A true leader + culinary expert, JB makes Spice shine with his talent + heart. Thanks for keeping us inspired, JB! 🍽️
