Over 20 years ago Spirotherm already led the way in carbon reduction! In 2003 Rochester Housing cut down on boiler fuel consumption after installing a Spirovent. The results of this study show an increase of efficiency of 8%, consistent across each of the 6 buildings. Air in hydronic systems acts as an insulator, much like it does in double-pane windows. Remove the insulation (air) from the system water, and only then can optimal heat transfer take place. #HVAC #HVACtech #hydronics
