We are proud to share that St. Francis' President, Amy Jerdee, is a Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ) Women in Business honoree. We are incredibly thankful to have Amy leading St. Francis. Starting at St. Francis in 2019, Amy led the hospital, our clinics, and community through COVID-19 while keeping an emphasis on employee wellness. Amy focuses on investing in the hospital, ensuring the necessary updates are made to continue providing the community with high-quality compassionate care. Her people-first leadership makes every staff member feel heard as an important part of the care we provide patients. Congratulations, Amy, on being an honoree and thank you for your leadership at St. Francis and in the community! https://bit.ly/4brC3dA #leadership #womeninbusiness

Last week, St. Francis leaders gathered for the quarterly leader collaborative, with a festive twist! Leaders reflected on wins in 2024 and looked forward to exciting things coming in 2025. There was also exercises about gratitude and learning what other leaders do in the hospital. It was also a great day to decompress, with a holiday sweater/costume contest, games and white elephant gift exchange! #leadership

Meet Marlis, one of our welcome desk volunteers! Marlis has been volunteering at St. Francis for 18 years and loves helping patients and visitors! Marlis started volunteering when at age 60, she thought she wanted to be a nurse…but decided volunteering was a better fit than life or death situations. She loves making other people's day brighter - and not that we're biased, but she does a great job at it! #volunteer

Yesterday evening was Saints Foundation's annual Lights of Love event! Thanks to donors and sponsors, Saints Foundation was able to raise over $22,500. It was a wonderful evening spending time with the community, listening to music from Abby Jerdee and Shakopee Public Schools choir and honoring our loved ones. Thank you to the Shakopee CAPS students for your support of the event! #HappyHolidays

Last week, St. Francis Senior Leadership team spent the day supporting Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to help those in need of secure and affordable housing! They spent the time dry walling one of the four-plex unites being built in Prior Lake. If you are interested in giving back (and you don't have to be handy!), check out their opportunities at tchabitat.org #volunteer #teambuilding
