A new study published in partnership with the Ghana Health Service found that SteelSky Ventures portfolio company Zipline enabled the delivery of 112,000 vaccine doses, fully immunizing 14,979 children in one year while significantly reducing last-mile delivery costs. The study also found that Zipline’s model provides better returns on investment than any other public health intervention aimed at increasing immunization. These results showcase the powerful intersection of healthcare innovation and logistics, with Zipline setting a new global standard for cost-effective, lifesaving healthcare delivery. SteelSky Ventures portfolio company Cayaba Care has been awarded $250,000 from the Penn Medicine-Wharton Fund for Health, which invests in startups addressing social determinants of health in Philadelphia and beyond.
