Last Friday, STIIIZY presented a $230,000 contribution check to the City of Pomona. Since opening STIIIZY Pomona, we've contributed over $5M directly to the city. This is part of our commitment to revitalizing historically disenfranchised communities impacted by the War on Drugs and demonstrating the power that cannabis provides through partnership. It’s nice to get out from behind your desk once in a while. Last Friday I joined members of the community at CA State Senator Durazo's field office in Silver Lake. We stuffed 1500 backpacks with school supplies for local youth ahead of the upcoming school year. I became involved in the cannabis industry to reverse the stigma and demonstrate that cannabis businesses can positively impact our communities. So, when presented with an opportunity to take action on behalf of one of the largest cannabis brands out there— I take it. Shoutout to my colleagues Daysi Garcia and Frank A Sanchez for letting me tag along!
