You can now drag and drop to change the order. I’ve never had trouble getting started with writing. I have, however, had issues keeping my writing organized. Notion works great for project-level planning and long-term thinking but isn’t so great for pure writing when you have as many ideas and creative scripts as I do (for example, writing daily social posts like this) . Google Keep works well for quick notes, but not so well when trying to organize those notes (so many ideas have gotten lost in the sauce). Now I’ve found an app that organizes my writing paired with a minimalist interface that keeps writing fun and focused. Strut is now rivaling the Notion desktop app for screen time whenever my laptop is open. The writing inbox and dark mode are perfect for my late-night writing sessions. And guess what? It’s free! You guys probably don't know this about me, but I'm a bit of a scatterbrain. So it's important that I have a system in place to manage the chaos that is freelance writing and newsletter running. I cannot tell you how tired I am of having disjointed Google Docs and constantly running out of storage. Strut's been a good home base for collecting my thoughts and organizing my work. I have separate workplaces in Strut for the newsletter, social media, and various projects. Today I'm working in dark mode (a true lifesaver as I fight off a headache).
