One of our favorite donation drives this year was for the Dakota Strong Fun Band-Aid Drive :) Dakota had a vision of having every child leave their cancer treatments with a band-aid a little fun! We were happy to help!

Suminoe proudly supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. We have a mobile mammogram unit that comes out each year for our associates to get their annual screening. We also support it by wearing pink and lining our drive with ribbons... this year, we even added a flag to represent the month.

Essential Job functions Support and setup user computers, laptops and technical equipment needed for job functions Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system software and hardware Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software Maintain logs of computers, phones and plant layout Answer IT Ticket requests pertaining to user and equipment technical issues Support company phone lines by setting up new lines and troubleshoot phone issues Test and apply system updates, patches and configuration changes Keep record of system configuration and any changes applied to system Assist with master data maintenance when needed Responsible for accurately creating and maintaining user accounts and permissions Support general IT functions as needed Qualifications Having a basic knowledge of computers and networking Having a working knowledge of Microsoft applications Ability to work rotating on call afterhours with other IT staff Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly and effectively Knowledge of the "IFS" ERP system and/or Oracle Databases is a plus Experience installing , repairing and troubleshooting computer hardware Experience installing windows, software, applications, antiviruses, etc. Experience with active directory Basic knowledge of networking, network equipment, Cell phones, windows servers and server administration Strong analytical/troubleshooting/organizational/interpersonal skills and attention to detail

Music provides a way to connect, even after verbal communication has become difficult. * Finding Comfort and Companionship: Animal therapy is an accessible and inexpensive practice that provides a variety of behavioral and emotional benefits for people living with dementia. The therapy has been shown to improve mood and facilitate social interaction. It can also have a calming effect that helps with dementia-related behavioral problems and increase physical activity in people living with dementia.
