𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁? I recently came across Paul Graham’s idea: “𝘈𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦. 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘪𝘹𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘭𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘥𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳.” It reminded me of a time early in my career when I was 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 but felt like I was spinning my wheels. I was surrounded by wonderful people, but they didn’t share the same hunger to build, create & push boundaries. I felt isolated, 😮💨 constantly questioning if my dreams were unrealistic or too far-fetched. That’s why I left Microsoft around 20 years ago. As incredible as my time there was, I realized that if I wanted to 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆, I needed to surround myself with others who shared that same fire. Thanks Sudhakar Suresh Vinod Sandeep Shitanshu and many more, I do miss you all. 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯 2013 when I met Preksha. She was working in the kitchen of a hotel, juggling long hours while dreaming of building something in tech. Even amidst the chaos of her routine, her ambition was unmistakable. She wasn’t just talking about big ideas—she was mapping them out, learning on the go, and taking consistent steps toward her vision. Her determination has stayed with me ever since. Fast forward to today, and Preksha and I are building something extraordinary together—a team, a vision, and a future we deeply believe in - Super AI. Surrounding myself with ambitious people like her has been one of the most transformative decisions of my life. Conversations went from “𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘥?” to “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯?” Ambition thrives on proximity. It’s not about where you’re from or what you’ve done—it’s about being surrounded by people who push your boundaries, challenge your limits, and remind you that the impossible is only a matter of perspective. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸, 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳: Are you surrounded by people who fuel your ambition? If not, find them. They might be the missing water. 𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥, 𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 with 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 details.

At some point we were starting batches of +400 every week, it was getting impossible to manage. . We started a fellowship program mentoring students and professionals during Covid. . A lot of people out were reaching out to get guidance for us to manage. So we started nurturing some of the fellows to mentor the peers. With our limited time and resources doing the best we can. . Soon we launched 1st version of Super AI (Alphaa AI back then) and the travel started, leaving us with even fewer hours to mentor. Kids were reaching out but we could only guide a few. - Scheduling was hard - Communicating was a task - Timezones were wild It was then Ankit told me about this project they were working on topmate.io where leaders and creators were sharing their time with anyone who needs guidance. It was still evolving but seemed to just the thing we needed. So Saurabh and I, immediately created our account and shared with our fellows to book their calls, and we still do that. Many of them just book the slots back to tell us of their progress. Its heartwarming to see how they evolve.
