A very personal new team member announcement today! Welcome Leise Trueblood, who is joining the Superfiliate squad as Chief of Staff. I'm particularly excited to welcome Leise to the team because she has seen the next stage of where we're headed on the Superfiliate journey from about as relevant of a perspective as one could. Leise was the Chief of Staff at Tagger through an insane growth trajectory and their ultimate exit to Sprout Social for $140M in 2023 and was a critical part of just about every part of that story. Early in the company journey, founders need to have their hands in a little bit of everything to garner insight and reduce friction in decision-making and communication. However, there comes a time in the founder journey when you start to realize that trying to do a little bit of everything is actually hurting the company, and you need to be focusing on the things that truly drive the company forward. Customers and Team So, today, it's time for me to stop doing 100 things "well enough" and start doing 10 things really well. We never settle for "good enough" anywhere else at Superfiliate, so why should we settle for good enough from our founders! Quick BFCM round-up from our corner of the world over at Superfiliate! What stands out to me most is the 85% growth in AOV amongst our customer base 🚀 This is likely more a reflection of the ever-increasing quality of customers we're working with, but even looking at same brand YoY growth, it's still substantial, which tells me there is more bundling, upselling, and overall basket growth happening. Annual events like this are fun because it's such a clear benchmark to measure your progress and impact year over year. I can safely say this year was our best yet by a long shot (and by nearly an order of magnitude) 🦾 We even generated a non-negligible percent of Shopify's total GMV this year - it can finally be measured in basis points! The holiday weekend is the "Superbowl" of e-commerce, and it's really cool to see us continue to play a bigger part in our customers' businesses during the most important time of the year. Can't wait to see what the rest of December holds, and we're grateful to get to support so many great brands during this time of year! Disclaimer - the data is likely a bit conservative because we were getting delayed webhooks from Cyber Monday due to the insane shopping volume.

They always say a good party is one where people don't want to leave. You almost never hear that about a work holiday party.. But when people genuinely like and care about the people they work with, they cherish the time they get to spend with each other and stick around. Ultimately, that tells you all you need to know about your company culture. Well, this weekend we hosted our first annual Superfiliate in Brazil end-of-year party, and it was absolutely epic. Victor Feijó and Amanda Knoll put together an incredible setup for the team to get together and celebrate what has been a record breaking year for us on so many fronts. I've never been more glued to my phone waiting for photos and updates.. Next time you see a post like this from me, it'll be the ENTIRE Superfiliate team together on the sunny beaches of Floripa. Tobi from Shopify wrote a famous email in 2021 about how companies are NOT families.. He made some very valid points in that message to his team, and I think when you're as big as Shopify, that perspective makes sense. But yesterday, in the middle of a 10-mile run in the freezing rain for our first annual "Turkey 10'er" a friend of mine, Trent Buenzli asked me what I was grateful for. The first two things that reflexively came out of my mouth 1️⃣ My family 2️⃣ My Superfiliate family Whether it's right or wrong, family is the word that comes to mind anytime I think about the incredible people I get to go to work with every day. To me, family is a group of people tied together by some common thread that you care about so deeply that all you want is for them to be happy and become the best version of themselves. Well, our team definitely checks those boxes. And just like any family, it certainly doesn't mean you always agree, and relationships ebb and flow, but that underlying purpose and cause always brings you back together because you put the collective over yourself. I mean, some of these folks we've been building with day in and day out for nearly 4 years now.. I've certainly seen a lot more of Anders Bill since 2021 than my parents or brother! Call it what you will, but family is the word that comes to mind for me.. I mean, Benjamin Putzer even welcomed me into his parents home for Thanksgiving yesterday.. If that's not family, I don't what is!
