Love this take on #Claude's latest announcement, and I couldn't agree more. Seems there's a new and ground breaking development in AI every week! How are you keeping up? I stay up to date with Nathaniel Whittemore's The AI Daily Brief on Spotify and practice my skills through the Superintelligent learning platform. It's been incredible to see the growth of this platform since I signed up in March when it was called the AI Education Beta. 😅

Anthropic's announcement that #Claude will be able to control our computers is EARTH SHIFTING. No more gating impact behind understanding how to configure or use a computer or its software. This is a technical revelation that fully democratizes tech. Everyone has a role to play in what happens next: The problems we decide to solve, the ways we decide to solve them, and the impact of those solutions. But my take—as always—is about humanity. I care the most about people and our relationships to each other, ourselves, and the earth. I care about the quality of our lives. So for me, here's the BIG takeaway today: This moment requires courageous leadership at every level and in every form. The MOST important thing we can do right now is get involved. Be curious about new tech, have an opinion, speak up, connect. Let's not leave the decisions that define this next chapter to those who want more power consolidated into the hands of a few. As Abby Panozzo says, "you are technical if you are curious about tech." At no time in our history has that been more true than this moment. Need more motivation than just my humble opinion to start experimenting, having an opinion, and speaking up about where your company or our country or our world goes next? Don't just take it from me. Take it from Darren Walker.

The world of AI agents is here! With Anthropic and Microsoft letting their agents loose, this wave represents a fundamental shift in how we interact with artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional AI tools that require constant human direction, these autonomous agents can independently execute complex sequences of tasks. This evolution from passive tools to active digital workers marks the beginning of true AI enablement, where systems don't just assist humans but can operate as independent workforce participants. Anthropic's Breakthrough: Anthropic has unveiled an AI system that can directly control computers - moving the mouse, typing, and navigating between applications just like a human would. While still in experimental stages with a modest 14.9% success rate for basic tasks, this marks a significant shift toward AI systems that can operate independently. Microsoft's Enterprise Push: Microsoft has launched a suite of autonomous AI agents through its Dynamics 365 platform, allowing companies to create custom AI workers using Copilot Studio. McKinsey & Company has already reported that their pilot AI agent could potentially reduce administrative work by 30% and improve lead time by 90%. How These Agents Work: These AI agents can now perform tasks like: - Filling out forms using data from multiple sources - Scheduling calendar events - Creating basic websites - Managing client communications Challenges and Limitations: The technology is still in its early stages, with Anthropic acknowledging that their system remains "unwieldy and error-prone". Privacy concerns also exist, as these agents require significant access to users' computers and data. Workforce Implications: The introduction of computer-controlling AI agents by industry leaders like Anthropic and Microsoft signals a transition from theoretical possibilities to practical applications. While current success rates may be modest, the trajectory suggests we're entering an era where AI systems will increasingly operate as autonomous colleagues rather than just tools. Looking Ahead: The real breakthrough isn't just in what these agents can do, but in how they're changing our understanding of AI's role in the workplace. As these systems mature, we're likely to see a fundamental restructuring of how organizations approach automation, task delegation, and workforce planning. What are your thoughts on AI agents? How will you take advantage of this latest breakthrough in AI enablement? Let us know what you think in the comments!

When Mayo Clinic enabled AI in their diagnostic process, something unexpected happened. Instead of replacing doctors, AI helped them achieve 29% better accuracy – but only when humans stayed in control. This reveals a surprising truth about AI enablement. In the race to enable AI, companies are discovering that the most powerful implementations don't replace humans – they supercharge them. This approach, called Human-in-the-Loop (HITL), is transforming how businesses succeed with AI while keeping the irreplaceable human touch. The evidence is compelling. MIT's research shows organizations using HITL approaches achieve 32% higher returns on their AI investments compared to those pursuing full automation. Why? Because human judgment remains critical in complex decision-making. Take JPMorgan Chase's fraud detection system. By combining AI's pattern recognition with human expertise, they cut false positives by 60% while catching 40% more actual fraud. The secret wasn't just better AI – it was keeping experienced analysts in the loop. Toyota's manufacturing success tells a similar story. Their AI-powered quality control system achieves 94% accuracy in defect detection, but only because they carefully preserved human oversight at critical decision points. Full automation actually performed worse. "The myth of full automation is just that – a myth," explains Dr. Sarah Chen from MIT's Digital Innovation Lab. "Our research shows that human judgment, especially in complex scenarios, remains irreplaceable." McKinsey's global study of 1,000 companies reveals three critical factors for AI success: - Clear human oversight - Strong feedback loops - Continuous learning from human experts The future of AI enablement isn't about replacing humans – it's about empowering them. Organizations that understand this are seeing dramatically better results. As Gartner predicts, by 2025, companies keeping humans in the loop will achieve 50% higher accuracy in AI-driven decisions. As you embark on your AI enablement process, don't overlook the human element. The most successful AI implementations enhance human capabilities. In the end, it's about AI and humans, working together to achieve what neither could alone.

Did you know that 75% of office workers use AI tools, yet only 39% have received formal training? (Microsoft, 2024). This gap is holding many businesses back from fully realizing the benefits of AI. Dr. Mariann Jordan, CEO of J & P Consulting Group LLC, experienced this firsthand. I showed her how to integrate AI into her workflow in just one hour. What used to take weeks, like preparing a 100-page board book or writing detailed proposals, was completed in days. AI became a real asset for her work, allowing her to focus more on strategic areas while the repetitive tasks were handled faster and more efficiently. At Superintelligent, we focus on helping businesses not only access AI tools but learn how to use them in ways that make a real impact. It’s about more than just providing the tools; it’s about empowering teams to use them effectively. What’s your business doing to bridge the AI skills gap? #AI #AIEnablement #AIEducation #Automation

What is “the AI enablement gap?” The AI enablement gap refers to the disparity between an organization's AI capabilities and its workforce's ability to effectively utilize these tools. It’s like investing in a spanking new state-of-art kitchen while only knowing how to make toast. This is what it’s like when companies invest in powerful AI tools, but their employees don’t have the proper training and skills to put them to use. Multiple studies confirm the AI enablement gap is a dire concern:  - 94% of individuals express willingness to acquire new skills to work alongside generative AI, but only a mere 5% of companies are currently investing in large-scale reskillling initiative for employees (Accenture, 2023) - only 25% of companies plan to offer training on generative AI this year (Microsoft, 2024) - 69% of CEOs anticipate that generative AI will require most of their workforce to develop new skills, rising to 87% of CEOs who have already deployed generative AI. (PWC, 2024) - 75% of office workers are already using AI tools in their daily tasks - Of those, only 39% have received formal training on how to use these tools properly. (Microsoft, 2024) How to close this gap?    1. Invest in your people: Only 25% of companies are planning on offering AI-related training this year. Be the outlier. Develop a comprehensive AI training program tailored to your organization's needs. Consider partnering with AI experts or enablement organizations to create high-quality, relevant content. 2. Catalog potential use cases to identify the right tools: Find out what your team actually needs by understanding where AI can be most useful. If 78% of workers are using personal AI tools at work, then they already have a handle on where AI can help immediately. Conduct an organization-wide survey to identify areas where AI can boost productivity. Create a task force to evaluate and prioritize these use cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 3. Lead by example: Learn about AI yourself and show your team how it can be used to make work easier and more interesting. AI power users report saving 30 minutes a day and feeling more creative and productive! Implement AI tools in your own workflow and demonstrate the benefits through concrete examples. AI is already transforming whole categories of business and work, and with 66% of business leaders saying they wouldn’t hire someone without AI skills, closing the AI enablement gap is imperative for all our futures. Start by assessing your organization's current AI capabilities and employee skill levels. Use this baseline to develop a targeted strategy for closing your AI enablement gap. Drop a comment and let us know what has worked, what hasn’t and what is missing in your current AI enablement strategy.

Founder and CEO at Superintelligent - The AI Enablement Platform

This is the AI tool I've been using most often lately that the fewest people I tell have used before. It's not Claude, or ElevenLabs, or Perplexity or HeyGen. It's Ideogram. It's amazing how small changes make a huge difference. I've been (and still am) a Midjourney stan for years. Getting lost creating dreamy nostalgia images from the past with Midjourney was literally my gateway conversion experience into GenAI. But of course, image generators have long struggled with text. That was okay, it just limited what they could be used for. Dall-E 3 got text a little better, but Ideogram 2.0 which came out in August is far, far better. Turns out, adding the ability to prompt text creation opens up a slew of new use cases. The one that's been most valuable for me is product design. I can prompt Ideogram to show my engineers and designers ideas for feature functionality for Superintelligent in a way that would have been radically more time consuming before. I'm sure these capabilities will be table stakes soon, but for now, Ideogram has become an almost-every-day used tool.

Become AI superfriends with your new hires. You’ll thank us later. With 40% of business graduate students proficient and using AI regularly (Capgemini Research, 2024), and only 15% of managers currently “speaking” Gen AI, this incoming wave of talent won’t dance to the same music as their predecessors. This recipe alone could sabotage your AI enablement strategy before it gets off the ground. So what can managers do to create a welcoming and dynamic environment while bolstering their AI enablement process? Managers - actively use AI in your own work. Show these new hires that you’ve got some tricks up your sleeve and that the company is serious about enabling AI for all. Celebrate real examples and use cases. Model where AI has been impactful, but leave enough room on the canvas for your newly hired cyborgs to uncover even more ways AI can help. Show up on campuses and where these future professionals are BEFORE they get into your company. Sponsor hackathons, create student led projects with depth and let the kids drive the bus. They’ll show off their AI skills, and you get a jump on scouting and recruiting talent early. Once they are in, modernize your onboarding with AI. While these talented young people will have AI skills, how they are deployed, meaningfully and within the culture and guidelines the company sets will be vital to your AI enablement success. Institute reciprocal mentorship protocols. You already encourage senior employees to mentor new hires, now flip it. Have new hires mentor senior leaders on their experience and use of AI. You’ll be surprised how many innovative ideas come out of this partnership, one, a master of tools, the other, a master of their business. Make sure job descriptions and career paths reflect the importance of AI skills. These new recruits will want to level up sooner rather than later, and you want to make clear that their unique skillset will have a place in architecting their future and the future of the company. These are a few ways to ensure your new AI-powered wiz kids feel welcome and empowered to make a real difference in the company. They will feel seen and be engaged, and you will have organically supercharged your AI enablement implementation. Let us know what you think and share other suggestions in the comments! #AI #AIenablement #enterprise #theenablementgap

As the great contemporary philosopher Ferris Bueller once said, "Life moves fast in AI enablement, and if you don't stop to look around, you might miss it." Here's what you're missing: 65% of organizations regularly use Generative AI in at least 1 business function. Than is nearly double the rate from 10 months ago! It's an exciting time to enable AI in your organization, but be wary of the challenges. While 74% of organizations report that their AI investments have met or exceeded expectations (McKinsey & Company, "State of Gen AI", 2024) it's crucial to remember that success isn't guaranteed. 61% of companies still struggle with data readiness for AI, and 70% find it difficult to scale projects using proprietary data (Accenture, "Reinventing Enterprise Ops with Gen AI", 2024). Our advice - concentrate on some of the fundamentals before you jump headfirst into AI enablement. Prioritize data infrastructure, manageable yet meaningful use cases that have the potential to drive business forward (either through efficiency or innovation), and champion the early adopters throughout your organizations who already use Gen AI to make their workflows better. They can be your evangelists for "what's possible" with AI enablement. 94% of individuals are willing to learn new skills for AI enablement (Accenture, "Work, workforce, workers: Reinvented in the age of Gen AI", 2023). Ask, "Are we providing them the support and opportunities they need?" "What's been their experience trying to adopt and able AI in the workplace?" "How can we balance learning and innovation responsibly so it benefits all?" Answer these, and you will be on your way to enabling AI in your organization and architecting its future.
