Our Midwest employees recently gathered donations for The Salvation Army Angel Tree program. It provides Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Each Angel Tree contains tags with local families’ wish lists. The Superior MW office fulfilled wishes on 40 tags! #ThisIsSuperiorConstruction #BuildingCommunity

Superior Construction recently sponsored Penn High School of Mishawaka, IN, in the 2024 Golden Shovel competition! The Indiana Constructors, Inc. Work IN Roads event challenged students with real-world construction tasks, including site surveys and heavy machinery operation. The Penn team demonstrated impressive skills, showcasing the importance of connecting education with industry. We’re proud to announce that Superior Senior Project Manager Lizabeth Howard, P.E. has won the 2024 PACER (Pavement, Asphalt, Concrete, Equipment, Rental) Award from ForConstructionPros! Liz won in the Women in Construction category, which recognizes women in the construction and rental industries whose accomplishments set an example for women at all levels of a company’s network. Liz is an industry veteran with 26 years of experience. She has managed transportation projects throughout the Southeast, including the Sanibel Causeway emergency repairs. She’s been with Superior for the last three years and we’re honored she’s part of the Superior family! Congratulations to Officer Anthony Yannuzzi and Police Service Dog Patriot, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Award of Excellence recipients for Q4 of 2024. Their dedication and skill in search and rescue have reunited multiple missing endangered persons with their families this quarter. From locating a missing child at night to finding an elderly man with dementia during a storm, their efforts highlight the vital role of canine units in law enforcement. Thank you, Ofc. Several of our NE Florida employees recently volunteered for Hunger Fight's Thanksgiving Outreach, packaging meals for Jacksonville-area students facing food insecurity. In just two hours, Superior employees packed 28 boxes, each containing 42 meals! Shoutout to the employees who took part: Brian Walker, Martin Connors, Isreal Soto, Cliff Radford, Rider Aleman Sanchez, Ervin Ocon Aleman, Oswaldo Alvarez Rojas, Bobby Tollerson, Maykel Castro, and Ava Marburger. A huge thank-you to everyone who gave to Superior’s hurricane relief donation drive at our Panhandle office in October! We collected a tremendous amount of supplies for people affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton because of the generosity of our team and our community.
