SWPA Municipal Project Hub
Community Development and Urban Planning
Connecting Southwestern Pennsylvania's Communities to Historic Opportunities.
About us
We help local government officials across Southwestern Pennsylvania access historic federal infrastructure & clean energy funding by connecting them with the resources, hands-on technical assistance, and other support they need to conceptualize, fund, and implement high-impact community development projects. We engage with leaders working on municipal projects and ideas at all stages of development and implementation, working creatively and responsively to connect local and regional leaders with the project conceptualization, visioning, technical research, capacity, and relationship-building support needed to position SWPA's communities to effectively, strategically, and competitively apply for transformative federal grant opportunities alongside local and regional partners.

The Hub is proud to be a part of a growing network of organizations committed to supporting a clean energy future in Southwestern Pennsylvania!
Nearly $1 billion in clean energy funding has been awarded to Pennsylvania - & nonprofits, philanthropy, government & non-governmental organizations have been working behind the scenes to drive the major funding inundation. Their efforts have played a major role in making the Pittsburgh region a key clean energy gateway for PA. “The framework they built is now paying off in a big way with new investments & job creation, as well as the considerable health & environmental benefits of clean energy," said Endowments President Chris DeCardy.
