TADA stands for Terminal Airspace Digital Assistant, but who and what does TADA assist?🤔 In general, a #DigitalAssistant is an #AI-powered software that helps people manage their tasks more efficiently. By using advanced algorithms and #MachineLearning capabilities, digital assistants can learn preferences, and needs, and provide recommendations for how to best achieve the tasks you set it to assist you with.📱 In general, digital assistants can: 📋Support with task organisation for example by providing reminders, scheduling, and calendar management 🤖Support the make of informed decisions with #DataAnalysis and insights ⏳Save time by automating routine tasks, such as writing emails or letters With TADA, we aim to use historical and synthetical #data and machine learning algorithms to support #AirTraffic controllers in their decision-making process to achieve the best trajectories for inbound traffic into one or more airports in a given terminal airspace (TMA). 🛬 This will be achieved by considering the sequences established by an Arrival Manager, propose #safe, #efficient, and feasible trajectories to meet the sequence, visualise the trajectories to enhance situational #awareness, discreetly prompt the controllers with the actions they can take to meet the trajectories, as well as issue warnings and advise should the digital assistant notice a trajectory not being met. 🛫 Behind the Radar: What do Air Traffic Service Professionals do? 🛬The work of #AirTraffic controllers and flight service specialists—often misunderstood and surrounded by myths—plays a critical role in #aviation safety. 🌐🧑✈️While some envision their roles as high-stakes environments with no room for error or #automated systems minimising human involvement, the reality is far more nuanced. As the aviation #industry advances, so does the complexity and expertise required in air traffic services. 🔎Read more to uncover the truth behind the radar screens and discover the top 8 myths about air traffic services 👇 https://lnkd.in/dAYsU-mw #AirTrafficManagement #ATM #ATC #AirTransport #Airport Ph. Record-Breaking Growth in Spanish #AirTraffic ✈️🌍 Last September, ENAIRE, Spain's air navigation service provider, managed an impressive 220,844 flights — a 6.7% increase compared to the same month in 2023, which had already set records. This growth rate significantly outpaced the European average of 4%, underscoring #Spain's thriving aviation sector. Since the end of the #pandemic disruptions on #aviation, EU airports have witnessed a steady "back to normal" trend in their traffic, if not an increase in many major hubs across #Europe. This phenomenon pushes for a better management and increased capability of airports, to be able to accommodate the rising demand and traffic int he European skies. As air traffic continues to grow, TADA's role in a more efficient and #smart ATM is more vital than ever to ensure #safety while accommodating the increasing number of flights 🌐 Read the article to know more! 👇👀 https://lnkd.in/drc3U-R3 #AirTraffic #ANSP #airports #ATM Ph. EUROCONTROL has recently published a Seven-Year Forecast report, which features the latest trends in #AirTraffic and their projections for the future up to #2030. 📋📈 The analysis forecasts a growing #trend, expecting an average growth of 2% each year beyond 2025, reaching over 12 million flights in #ECAC by 2030.✈️🌍 With such growing numbers, there is a growing need for a optimised and more efficient #AirTrafficManagement, that would benefit all stakeholders across the board, from #aviation professionals to passengers.🤝🌐 Learn more on the EUROCONTROL report here! 🔎👇 https://lnkd.in/dC63Ag3U #AirTrafficControl #ATM #ATC

After the #pandemic, #aviation is steadily rebounding back and returning to its pre-pandemic levels. In #Europe, for instance, the major EU #airports are back to full capacity, with some witnessing difficulties in handling the increasing numbers of flights and passengers. 📈✈️ Take #Germany for instance: in the first half of 2024, 5.2% more flights were controlled in German #airspace than in the same period in 2023. At the same time, DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH, the German #ANSP, was able to significantly improve punctuality and guide flights more directly to their destinations.🛫🌐 Read the article from ATC Network 👇👀 https://lnkd.in/dtb_DrT6 #AirTransport #AirTrafficControl #Mobility Ph.
