    Class is in session for tarte’s Fall 2024 Intern Program! Our tarte interns are diving into real-world experiences, bringing fresh perspectives & energy to their roles across departments. Each week, tarte leaders host in-depth sessions on key topics, from operations to product development. This week, Lauren Vacca, our Sr. Director of Influencer Marketing, shared insights on relationship building & brand awareness within the creator community. Lauren covered tarte’s thoughtful mailer strategy, highlighting: 🌟Creator Assessment Matrix: Developed in collaboration with Black Beauty Roster, this matrix equally weighs follower count, engagement level, content type, brand loyalty & new audience reach. 🌟Inclusive Distribution: tarte sends mailers to creators across the United States & abroad and 50% of every mailer always goes to BIPOC creators & 30% to Black creators 🌟Creator Autonomy: true to tarte’s values, no creator is ever required to post about a mailer—ensuring genuine connections that honor true creator autonomy. To bring these strategies to life, our interns analyzed September’s Hermes bracelet mailer for one of tarte’s biggest Holiday Collection launches—the Shape Tape Award Winners Set. This mailer reached 100 creators, with 29 having fewer than 10K TikTok followers (including 5 with less than 2K). The creators ranged in age from 18 to 49, with 33% identifying as Black and 50% as BIPOC. Each recipient received the same tarte products and Hermes bracelet. Our interns wrapped up the session by sharing favorite creators & ideas for future mailer themes, playing an active role in shaping tarte’s influencer partnerships. At tarte, investing in our interns means empowering them with real-life experience, insights, & a seat at the table.

This collection brings together beauty & technology in a way that feels like holiday magic! 💜 Continuing our tradition of kind since ‘99, we made donations to Toys For Tots, Black Girl Ventures, Asheville Humane Society & World Central Kitchen on behalf of every guest, spreading a little more joy this season. And, of course, glam was in full swing as we celebrated in style. Huge thanks to our Shape Your Future winner, LaRonda Butler, for the stunning balloons that truly brought the season to life. Cheers to making this holiday season bright with beauty, kindness & innovation! ✨

    Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour Miami was truly something else 💜🪄🫶🏻 After seeing so much devastation in my own community after Hurricane Helene & Milton, I knew that I wanted to do something to help out the small businesses that were impacted by all of the destruction. For our iconic room drops, we decided to purchase goodies from Hurricane impacted brands in Florida, NC, Georgia, & Tennessee. We wanted to help uplift these brands by gifting these amazing products to our creators with us for the weekend 🫶🏻 Every item that was gifted had a personal story attached to a brand struggling to recover from the hurricanes. Later at the glam suite, we set up a Hurricane relief kit packing station with a ton of incredible brands like honeypot, Bobbie, parasol, and beis who was so amazing to gift the bags! These were later brought to the Miami rescue mission clinic, which is a free clinic for those who are struggling in the Florida community - especially with the aftermath of hurricane Milton & Helene. All of this is a part of our ongoing efforts to give back to those affected from the hurricane. In addition, tarte and myself personally gave $250,000 to World Central Kitchen to provide meals to those affected by Hurricane Helene and Milton 💜
