I had the unique experience of joining State Troopers and the Texas National Guard on an airboat in Eagle Pass and rode down the Rio Grande. It was an opportunity to witness firsthand the extensive measures taken to deter illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling along the Texas-Mexico border. The view from the water provided a very different perspective on the mission. I came away with a profound respect for their commitment and the challenges the Service Members face to protect and serve our communities. Great turnout last week at the Shale Energy Resources Bustin’ Clays for Kids Clay Shoot! We had the privilege of taking some of our amazing clients out for a day of appreciation and fun, while also connecting with friends, industry partners, and new prospects. Events like these are a wonderful way to strengthen relationships, build new connections, and support a fantastic cause.

Last week, we marked the culmination of an incredible journey with the FOB Eagle project, a facility built to support up to 2,300 Soldiers across over 400,000 square feet of building space on 80 acres. Completing a project of this magnitude took unparalleled dedication, teamwork, and resilience. That afternoon, THS and our partners came together to celebrate everyone who made this ambitious undertaking a reality. From our diligent construction teams to Maverick County Officials and every contributor who played a part – your hard work and commitment were the backbone of this achievement. Thanks to the collective efforts of so many, we not only finished the project but did so on schedule. With construction now complete, the facility will continue to operate and serve the needs of those Texas National Guard Soldiers stationed here. It’s moments like these that remind us of the power of collaboration and shared purpose. To our partners: your expertise and partnership were invaluable.
