  • #TOBY2035Tuesday – Whenever possible, Team Tobyhanna says YES to the opportunity to engage the next generation of the civilian workforce and inform them of the many pathways to federal employment! Recently, Kimberly Appel of the Human Capital Division and Thomas Gregorowicz of the C4 Systems Support Branch supported the Your Economic Success (YES) event sponsored by the Junior Achievement of NEPA at Wallenpaupack Middle School. Team Tobyhanna also welcomed students and representatives from Stroudsburg Area High School on-post for a tour. Events like these help Team Tobyhanna strengthen community partnerships, identify areas of opportunity, connect depot artisans with the workforce of the future, equip the next generation with the tools they need to seek employment, make human capital a key focus area, and ensure Tobyhanna’s position as a leading readiness provider now and into the future! • #MissionMonday – Tobyhanna Army Depot was honored to host Mr. William (Willie) Utroska, Deputy Program Manager of Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) – US Army - PEO IEW&S for an orientation visit today, Dec. 16. Trzeciak and his team toured the depot’s modernized facilities before meeting with depot leadership to discuss Tobyhanna’s regional sustainment framework, demilitarization efforts, and our team’s progress on the vital Mounted Assured PNT System Generation II (MAPS GEN II) workload. MAPS GEN II is a GPS-aided inertial navigation system. Warfighters require precision and accuracy to execute their missions, which becomes more difficult when GPS is compromised. This critical technology ensures warfighters remain connected and maintain operational effectiveness - even in GPS-denied environments. Team Tobyhanna is grateful for this partnership as we continue to deliver superior solutions to the battlefield! #TOBY2035 | #C5ISRReadiness [image description: Image depicts several individuals posing for a photo in front of a large digital screen. • Today we celebrate the legacy of the National Guard, the oldest military force in the United States. Established in 1636, the Guard began as a group of colonial militia members who stood ready to defend their homes and communities. Over the last 388 years it has evolved into force it is today, answering the call of duty during some of the nation’s most critical moments. The soldiers of National Guard balance civilian careers and military service, embodying a commitment to both country and community. At Tobyhanna Army Depot, we are proud to support the Guard’s mission by providing cutting-edge technology and equipment that helps them remain always ready. Join Team Tobyhanna as we honor the dedication, resilience, and courage of every guardsperson, past and present, who has answered the call to serve! #NationalGuardAnniversary [Image Description: The image is of three National Guardspeople operating a piece of equipment. • #WayBackWednesday - Today, we are throwing it way back to 2001 when Tobyhanna Army Depot dedicated the “Nina Newhart Blood Donor Center” in honor of long-time depot volunteer, Nina Newhart. Since 1954, the depot has facilitated regular blood drives with the American Red Cross in an effort to offset the nation’s blood shortage. This year alone, Team Tobyhanna’s dedicated employees have stepped up in a big way donating nearly 400 pints of blood, helping to save countless lives! 💉 🩸 Together, we have been making a difference in our community and beyond for 70 years! #TOBY2035 | #InvestInOurPeople | #StrategicCommunications [image description: First image depicts three individuals, one wearing a military uniform, standing behind a table with a plaque on it.
