South Norwalk School Steel Topping-Off Ceremony and Celebration of State Funding for a Roundabout next to the School Today marks a significant milestone not only for the South Norwalk community but for the future of education in our city. This new school represents a long-overdue investment in our children, giving them a state-of-the-art facility to learn and thrive. The 60% state reimbursement rate has made this possible, saving Norwalk taxpayers $30 million while prioritizing our students. The additional $2.5 million investment for a roundabout next to the school will ensure our students’ safety, improving traffic flow and pedestrian safety for everyone in this neighborhood. We’re building more than just a school—we’re building a safer, stronger community for generations to come. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Lexington Partners' Abner Hotel in Litchfield, a project that transformed the historic 1888 courthouse into a 20-room boutique hotel. We’ve worked to preserve the building's rich heritage while infusing modern luxury, including a rooftop bar with breathtaking views and elegant guest spaces. A special thanks to the local community for their support throughout this journey. It’s an honor to contribute to Litchfield's growth with this unique architectural gem. https://lnkd.in/eG7JB7ZT #Hospitality #Architecture #BoutiqueHotel #HistoricPreservation

This past weekend, #TeamTecton participated in the Tour of the Litchfield Hills charity bike ride for the 8th year in a row, this time with our friends at KBA. Together as Team Architx, we rode in memory of our beloved colleagues Jim Haag, Donna Auclair, and Traci Hillebrecht of Architx, who remain close to our hearts. We’re thrilled to share that with the generous support of our community, we helped raise $2,741 (and counting!) for The Cancer Care Fund of The Litchfield Hills. This incredible fund directly supports cancer care, treatment, education, and prevention for Connecticut residents. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, cheered us on, or rode alongside us! Your support means the world and helps keep the memories of Jim, Donna, and Traci alive through the work we’re doing together.
