Dean Miguel Mostafa recently sat down with Evan Tully, a sophomore biochemistry major from South Philly, to discuss his groundbreaking undergraduate research at the Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Evan and his team are exploring ways to restore bladder, urethral, and anal sphincter function in patients with lower motor neuron lesions, using growth factor administration (BDNF) via adeno-associated virus vectors. With hands-on lab experience and strong mentorship, Evan is well on his way to shaping a future in healthcare. The other day I had the honor of speaking at four of Professor Claudia Pine-Simon's IST classes at Temple University College of Science and Technology. I got to talk about the EDRM - Electronic Discovery Reference Model, my role as an eLitigation Specialist and the Owl2Owl mentor program -https://lnkd.in/ecDbKpXd That day filled my heart with such joy. Excuse the blurry video quality 😂 I’m still getting the hang of capturing videos in a classroom setting, but this spring semester marks year two as an Adjunct Instructor at Temple University! It is an honor to stand in front of SciTech Scholars and share my insights about the abundant amount of pathways in technology. This experience has challenged me to not only learn about their majors, but also identify ways to translate my learnings in a format that’s digestible to them.
