🚨 Breaking News 🚨 ⚖️ A DEA Administrative Judge has cancelled the January 21st hearing that was set to consider reclassifying marijuana. This decision follows claims that the DEA engaged in unauthorized communications with anti-marijuana groups before the rescheduling hearing. The judge described the DEA's actions as "unprecedented and astonishing." 🚫 Advocates sought to have the DEA removed from the process due to this conduct, but their request was denied. These lounges aim to provide safe, regulated spaces for patrons to consume cannabis legally. 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲? Licensed Class 5 Cannabis Retailers and medicinal dispensaries, with both NJ-CRC and municipal endorsements. One lounge per entity is allowed, and endorsements must be renewed annually. 🚨 Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission is Seeking Feedback 🚨 On December 17, the Commission took an important step in advancing regulations for 𝐨𝐧-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. In a unanimous 3-0 vote, the Commission opened an informal public comment period to gather input from stakeholders. Earlier this month, on December 5, the Commission introduced policies for 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 tailored for small businesses and participants in the agency's equity programs—an exciting opportunity for fostering inclusivity and innovation in the adult-use cannabis market. The draft regulations, currently under review, represent one of the first steps toward implementation. Commissioners are set to revisit the draft for further discussion and a vote in early 2025. 📢 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬!
