Terrapass is excited to announce our 20-year anniversary! We are proud to be one of the longest-serving carbon credit providers. Terrapass was founded in 2004 by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton MBA class Problem Solving, Design, and System Improvement. Their goal was to create a mission-based enterprise dedicated to reducing climate change. They started by helping individuals offset their driving emissions and gained more than 2,000 customers in the first year. Terrapass was named one of the best new ideas of 2005 by The New York Times Magazine. We agree!   Terrapass continues to follow our original mission, but we have come a long way from that 2004 classroom. We have expanded far beyond individual driving to help thousands of businesses and hundreds of thousands of individuals address all elements of their carbon footprint. Our customers have funded hundreds of carbon reduction projects across the world to reduce millions of tons of carbon emissions from the atmosphere.    We are proud of what our customers have achieved and Terrapass is equally excited for the future.
