🤯 Estas dos piezas de 17 centímetros han sido las encargadas de soportar las 300 toneladas del Super Heavy. Estoy seguro de que todos hemos visto cómo #SpaceX ha logrado atrapar su booster Super Heavy, un hito de la ingeniería que representa un gran avance en la exploración espacial. No obstante, este proceso requiere mucha más precisión de la que imaginamos. Yo mismo pensaba que el booster había sido capturado por medio de las 4 aletas que tiene en su parte superior, las cuales tienen una superficie relativamente grande y ofrecen un mayor margen de error... pero estaba equivocado. El Super Heavy aterriza sobre dos piezas muy pequeñas situadas en sus laterales, como podéis ver en el vídeo. Los ingenieros han diseñado estos brazos, conocidos como "load points", para soportar el peso total del vehículo 🚀, que supera las 300 toneladas. Cada brazo está compuesto por dos partes: un cilindro de 17 cm de diámetro y una pieza de unión al interior del booster. Precisamente, estos cilindros son los dos únicos puntos de contacto durante el aterrizaje.
