  • Last week, Wesley Chan, co-founder and managing partner at FPV Ventures, joined Caroline Hyde on Bloomberg to discuss the future of the IPO market in 2025. His prediction? We can expect valuations to come down from the highs recorded in 2021 and 2022. The companies that pursue an IPO will achieve valuations that reflect how unique they are to the market. • We’re so excited to announce the launch of Good PR’s website. But really, what a labor of love. ICYMI, we unofficially launched Good PR last year and have seen incredible growth since taking on our first project more than a year ago. Like many of our clients, we’ve largely been operating in stealth mode. Until today, we didn’t have a digital footprint and all of our work had come through word of mouth. This is something we’re really proud of. One of the best measures of our success is having people we’ve worked with trust us and value our work enough to refer us to people who trust and value them. If this is your first time hearing about Good PR – hello, we’re glad you’re here! Good PR was founded by Yasmeen Ahmed and Stephanie Cook. Together, we bring a mix of experience from in-house and corporate comms to agencies large and small, having worked with companies like PitchBook, Credit Karma, Amazon Alexa, Serena Ventures, Lyft and more. After over a decade of experience in communications, we decided to start a firm that brings something new to companies, especially those who are just starting up. Why? We noticed a gap in the market: A lot of companies are unhappy with traditional agency models. They feel overcharged and under-serviced as they compete with other, more established clients. Clients often tell us that, after signing on with an agency, the work is handed down from senior executives to more junior staff. That’s where Good PR differs. As founders, we dig in with each client, ingraining ourselves into their business and serving as an extension of their team. To make this work, we only take on a select number of high-quality clients at a time. This helps us ensure that we only partner with companies whose values align with our own and whose missions we truly believe in.   We’re proud to represent VC firms that support mission-driven founders and whose work has the power to change the industry – for the better. We’re also proud to support companies who are on a mission to solve some of the biggest problems facing our society, including equity and access.  As we look ahead to the future, we want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible journey it’s been so far. We founded this company as former colleagues who respected each other’s work and POV, but we also founded this company as best friends. Many people tell you never to start a business with your best friend but we’re doing it anyway – something about two delusional besties telling each other “exactly.” We look forward to continuing to build a company and community that represents our values. We can’t thank those who have already supported us enough – especially our clients who took a chance on us when we didn’t even have a website. And for every friend, former colleague, mentor, etc. who gave us counsel, answered our questions and cheered us on or celebrated us — Thank you. We would not be here without your support. Cheers to officially being live and online!
