This project holds a special place in our hearts. The newly constructed columbarium at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church was designed with deep reverence and care. Through interactive focus groups, town hall style meetings, and design work sessions, we updated their master plan for the entire campus to accommodate the varied needs of a growing church community. This included the columbarium space, providing a peaceful sanctuary where memories can be cherished. We were honored to be part of this project. Hogan Construction Group

Originally built in 1905 and expanded in 1933, this National Register structure which was once home to the SC National Guard, is being reimagined as a boutique hotel. Facing Assembly St in Downtown Columbia will be The Armory. With a nod to its military history and architectural character, the interior design spirit is refined military moderne. Filled with bespoke details, the spaces feel intentional, warm, and well appointed. Our design efforts are guided by both the Secretary of Interior Standards and City Center Design Guidelines. Featuring 44 rooms spread over 28,000 sq. ft., this three-story gem will include: a new entry plaza, a historic monumental entry stair, and a rooftop bar and restaurant with sunset views. The hotel will also feature a new elevator and stair tower. #thearmory #columbiasc

Both projects were new builds and have fostered a sense of pride on their respective campuses. We appreciated the opportunity to accept these awards with our clients and construction teams last night! Hood Construction Company, Inc. Mashburn Construction
