Cadmus is proud to lead the engagement staff who hosted this conversation, in collaboration with Riverside Technology, inc.
The 2024 hurricane season caused unprecedented flooding in the southeastern U.S. resulting in significant loss of life, property damage, landslides, road washouts, and major supply chain disruptions that prohibited access to essential supplies. While communities rallied together with the support of retailers, these challenges brought to light the necessity of usable and timely data for businesses to best prepare for and respond to these types of major storms in the future. On November 5, 2024, NOAA's Industry Proving Grounds (IPG) team met with retail industry leaders to discuss disaster preparation and response and how NCEI’s climate data products and services can empower better planning and decision-making. https://bit.ly/3VLfE58
