The Edna McConnell Clark Foundation announces what's next with its limited-life strategy as Blue Meridian Partners, started in 2015 and incubated at EMCF, shares plans to become an independent enterprise. As we move forward, we seek to ensure that our 40-plus years of knowledge and expertise will have a lasting impact on our society’s most disadvantaged youth, and we will continue supporting our grantees and the work of the PropelNext initiative.
About us
For five decades, the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation (EMCF), established by a daughter of the founder of Avon Products and her husband, has sought to help people and communities in need. Since 1999, it has championed economically disadvantaged youth, developing a collaborative, performance-based investment strategy that increases philanthropy’s impact exponentially. Now the Foundation is investing all its assets over the next decade in making an enduring impact on the lives of children and families mired in poverty in the U.S. Its staff and operations have transitioned to Blue Meridian Partners, a collaborative philanthropic investment vehicle that EMCF incubated and in which it is a General Partner. This independent organization is helping EMCF fulfill its commitments and complete its limited-life strategy efficiently and responsibly.
