If your team wants to learn more about how to communicate in the office - and learn about how they communicate, their team communicates, and be enlighted by all the perspectives in your room - look no further. Dr. Christine Herring is one of a kind. She just led our team through a weeks long training series that everybody LOVED. We all have a renewed understanding of who we are, who we’re talking to, and how to be effective together. Thank you, Dr Herring, for allowing our team at The Education Partnership to learn with you.

The Education Partnership is so much more than just basic school supplies - its Holiday gifts, its groceries, its socks, its sporting equipment... its whatever a school, teacher, counselor, principal, or student needs to get back to educating: "From the Nov/Dec time, I was able to find educational toys to use as Christmas gifts for each of my students. The looks on their faces when they saw the wrapped presents were priceless. I also have used the Giant Eagle, Inc. shopping bags to pass out to families during conferences so they would have them for their groceries. The socks were also a huge treasure! I have shared socks with everyone in our building from k-8 and they have been well received. The volleyball and basketball coaches were excited for them as well!" All gifts today for #GivingTuesday are doubled at TEP thanks to our dear friends and community champions, Pamela Rogers and Jamie Rogers. That means for every $1 you donate today = $16 worth of school supplies going directly to teachers and their students! GIVE TODAY! https://lnkd.in/eitMtjk7

A beautiful testimonial from one of our teachers that I needed today. Sharing in case you need something too: "The Education Partnership embodies more than just a charitable organization providing educational supplies. It symbolizes a lifeline of support, innovation, and empowerment for me, my work as an early intervention teacher, and my entire school community. TEP's impact on my work is profound. It signifies access to resources that transcend mere materials; it means having the tools to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and foster learning with our preschoolers. TEP's contributions enable me to create dynamic, engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs and interests of my students, amplifying my effectiveness as an educator. For my school, TEP represents a critical partnership in our mission to provide quality education to every student, regardless of socioeconomic background. By alleviating the financial burden of acquiring essential supplies, TEP ensures that our school/program can allocate resources towards other necessities. More than anything, TEP embodies the spirit of community and collaboration. It signifies a network of support that extends beyond the confines of our school walls, connecting us with a broader community of educators, donors, and advocates who share a common vision of educational equity and excellence. TEP's presence in our school serves as a reminder that we are not alone in our mission; rather, we are part of a larger movement dedicated to empowering educators and transforming lives through education. The Education Partnership is not just an organization; it's a beacon of hope, opportunity, and possibility for me, my students, and my school. It represents the power of collective action to effect positive change in the lives of those we serve, and for that, I am deeply grateful."

  • Together, we can do so much more to improve the entire health of SWPA through education. Thank you Rep. Summer Lee for visiting to help champion this work.

Last week, Congresswoman Summer Lee and District Director Brandon Forbes made a visit to TEP to learn about how we’re addressing educational inequity in SWPA. Needless to say, we had a blast talking to teachers and giving away school supplies. We look forward to working together to further evening the playing field for all learners in our region. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise, and for leading in this critical space that impacts everyone. Doug Morally Sharon Cercone, CCP, CWLP Loren Wright, AIA Theresa Smith-Kail Kim Salinetro (There was also an awesome segment that WPXI-TV ran for us that night with Rep. Lee but I can’t find it to share!)
