This past Friday, February 21st, we had the honor of celebrating our annual Golden Apple Teacher Social, graciously hosted by Chico's, Inc., one of our Golden Apple Major Sponsors. The event was an incredible success, bringing together over 100 educators, sponsors, Foundation and School Board members to celebrate the outstanding teachers who make such a difference in the lives of students within the School District of Lee County. It was a wonderful evening of networking, socializing, and celebrating the dedication and hard work of our educators. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Chico's, Inc. for their continued support of our mission and for making the event a memorable one. Special thanks as well to the East Lee County High School Culinary Program and their talented students for providing delicious food that delighted all attendees. This year's event was an unforgettable one, with the 30 outstanding finalists being recognized for their incredible contributions to shaping the future of our students. We were also joined by Lee County School Board members, the Superintendent of Lee County Schools, and several local business and community partners who all play vital roles in supporting education in our community. Our annual STEMtastic Day of Discovery at the Caloosa Sound Convention Center was a huge hit! We were thrilled to see such an amazing turnout as over 3500 students and families filled the space, making it a day to remember. From hands-on activities to cutting-edge technologies, the event was packed with inspiration and excitement. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with the brightest minds in science, technology, engineering, math, and art, sparking curiosity and creativity in all who attended!
