About us

The Future of Sustainable Data Alliance (FoSDA) is a multi-member alliance formed to address the environmental crisis and sustainability issues from a data perspective and foster collaboration in financial markets. FoSDA members are united by the belief that investors and regulators across the globe need reliable, decision-ready data to confidently invest in sustainable economic activities. The FoSDA mission is to identify and accelerate the reliable, actionable ESG data and related technology that is needed for improved investor decision making on the global journey to sustainable development. Launched at the World Economic Forum in January 2020, founding partners include the World Economic Forum, IIF, OMFIF, Tsinghua University, ASIFMA, GFMA, Climate Bonds Initiative, FinTech4Good, Everledger, Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs, Bank of Africa-BCME, Finance for Biodiversity, GoImpact and Icebreaker One, with Bloomberg joining as a partner in January 2021.
