The Future of Sustainable Data Alliance (FoSDA)is the proactive voice of the sustainable data ecosystem. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our mission of advancing sustainable finance through high-quality data and analytics. It’s a unique – and flexible – opportunity to work with leading organisations in the data provider industry including Bloomberg, S&P Global, SIX, Moody's, Morningstar Sustainalytics, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), EcoVadis, ClarityAI, Climate Bonds Initiative and CDP. How can we accelerate progress on #sustainablefinance?   Many new and planned sustainable finance-related policy and regulatory interventions around the world don’t fully take into account the practicalities needed to make change happen efficiently - such as the critical importance of regulatory alignment, the need for high quality data to inform investment decision-making and the need for reliable data to underpin investment tools and indices.    In 2023/2024, the Future of Sustainable Data Alliance set out some of the key principles that policy-makers and regulators should consider when contemplating regulations or standards that relate to or rely on ESG ratings, scores and data products. There's more to be done. You can read more about our work in 2023 and our priorities in 2024 in our annual report. On Wednesday at #COP28, the ISSB Vice-Chair Jingdong Hua and IFRS Foundation staff members Mardi McBrien and Evie Robertson co-hosted an event with ERM on capacity building for the successful adoption of the ISSB Standards.   Jingdong presented at the Principles for Responsible Investment and United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) Sustainable Finance Forum. He went on to give a speech at a LONGi Solar event which heard pioneers in addressing climate change discuss energy transition. Mardi McBrien joined a Road to Regulation workshop held by High-Level Climate Champions and Evie Robertson spoke at The Future of Sustainable Data Alliance (FoSDA) event on data and regulation. #ISSBatCOP28
