Izzy Mokotoff and Alexis Chan built their first prototypes in The Garage's Jumpstart program, became long-time Residents, and took home second place and $50,000 at VentureCat 2024 - funding that directly contributed to their launch today. Notice any familiar faces? Trevor Abbott & Victoria Israel are Residents at The Garage building HaptE a startup that produces low-cost sensing gloves for data collection. In their spare time, they're getting nods from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration for their inflatable metal solutions that have the potential to contribute to future moon missions.

🎉 What a fantastic night with the Master of Science in Machine Learning and Data Science at Northwestern University! ⚽️ A student organizing team of Jakob Kuemmerle, Zoe(Yuanzhu) Li, Shashwat Kakkad, Yuan (Gabriel) Zhang, and Ananya Rattan Khurana put together a three day Hackathon in collaboration with Northwestern soccer, culminating in an evening of pitches and presentations at The Garage at Northwestern University. Student groups from all around the University joined us to compete! 🙏🏻 Many, many thanks to Jordan Betterman for organizing all the communication and code, Yuri Balasanov and Mateusz Ryczek for their time spent on code review, and our judges panel of Alice Zhao, Joel Shapiro, Evan Boyd, Russell Payne, and Brylan Donaldson for their time and insight.

After completing the MMM program at Kellogg, I returned to Silicon Valley to start my career as a product manager.
