Today, we spotlight our board member, Jessie Levandoski, she started: A Medical Go Kits initiative to provide essential first aid and feminine hygiene supplies to young women and communities in need. 🏥✨ We are getting ready for a Gear Pack-Up Event with New Mexico Rapids Soccer Club Girls Academy Community Service Project on March 1st, and we need your help.  📢 How You Can Help: ✅ Donate feminine hygiene products: Pads, tampons, menstrual cups, panty liners, disposable wipes, and any reusable menstrual products for long-term sustainability. ✅ Donate first aid supplies: Band-aids, gauze pads, antiseptics, adhesive tape, disinfectants, gloves, and any other basic fist aid kit supplies ✅ Make a financial donation to support this initiative! https://lnkd.in/gtJVbZBa Every donation makes a difference in ensuring young players have access to essential medical care when they need it most.  ✅ Sponsor a Lunch for the Community Service Event with 100 girls. 🌍⚽ Where in the World Wednesday! ⚽🌍 Today we are featuring our 21st Donation, we’re celebrating an incredible effort from Santa Monica to Los Angeles! 🎉 Elizabeth Manco and her son, Gianluigi, reached out to us with an inspiring goal—Gianluigi wanted to make The Gift of Soccer his high school project! 👏 He took amazing initiative, setting up two days for collecting soccer gear, then carefully organizing and preparing it for donation to @YouthWithAMission in Los Angeles. His dedication ensured that these donations would go directly to helping underprivileged youth. Through Zoom coordination, we connected Gianluigi with Youth With A Mission, where founders Fabio & Abel—leaders in the North American Sport Movement—were seeking gear to start a soccer camp and a new soccer academy. This was a perfect match, made even stronger by our partnership with Rance Bland from @SportsQuestMinistries ! 📸 The photos say it all! You can see the hard work Gianluigi put into this project, proving that a passionate individual can make a real difference. 🌍 Where in the World Wednesday! 🌍 For our 25th donation to Uganda, we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Cohasset High School Soccer Teams and Eddie Tokpa, MA (International Development) for making The Gift of Soccer possible! ⚽🎉 With support from Hingham Youth Soccer, Galway Rovers FC, and South Shore Select Soccer, the Cohasset High School Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams organized a massive donation drive. They set up collection bins in Cohasset, MA & Hingham, MA, gathered a huge number of never-used uniforms, and even coordinated with a shipping company to transport everything! But the journey didn’t stop there! Eddie Tokpa, Assistant Coordinator for the Uganda Studies Program (Denver, CO Outreach Team), and his wife drove all the way from Denver to pick up the bins for transport. 🚗💨 We filled his car to the absolute max! 📦🔥 Thanks to Eddie and his team, this donation made it to Kampala, Uganda, where it was distributed to children in need. The result? Thanks to a generous gear collection from La Costa High School in Encinitas, CA—organized by the amazing Lori Vitale—we were able to deliver much-needed soccer gear to refugee camps in Houston. 💙⚽ A huge shoutout to @RanceBland from @SportQuest for helping coordinate the handoff and ensuring the gear reached the kids who needed it most.
