About us
The Green Heart Project builds garden-based experiential learning projects and school garden programs to educate students connect people and cultivate community through growing, eating, and celebrating food. We are a community-based volunteer organization that integrates school farms as outdoor classrooms in an effort to teach students the virtues of hard work, respect and success, and to reiterate classroom curriculum while connecting students and volunteers to fresh, healthy, locally-grown produce.

Responsibilities include: - Implementing garden-based and culinary lesson plans - Maintaining school gardens - Coordinating volunteers - Building & maintaining relationships with school partners This is the ideal opportunity for someone with a background in youth education and looking to gain more experience in a community-based nonprofit setting.
