In the face of adversity—shaped by conflict, economic struggles, and natural disasters—many women had to become heads of households in Sri Lanka. Through partnerships with local women’s organisations, we are supporting these resilient women in transforming their business aspirations into reality. By providing training, skills development, and investment in sectors like jewellery and garment making, we are equipping women with the tools to take control of their futures and break the cycle of poverty, helping them achieve financial independence and sustainable livelihoods. Join us in making a difference - donate now at theloombafoundation.org. #WelfareForWidows

At The Loomba Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Gala, over £60,000 were raised to support women and children, fleeing the horrors of war in Ukraine. In partnership with Barnardo’s, the funds are helping mothers receive £100 vouchers to purchase essential items such as clothing, toys, and furnishings, enabling them to create a stable and secure foundation for their new life. As we continue to push forward with our mission, we remain committed to ensuring that no woman or child is left behind. Donate now on theloombafoundation.org and be a part of the change. #TheLoombaFoundationSupport

The Loomba Foundation and the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum collaborated to empower 5,000 impoverished and disadvantaged widows in Uttar Pradesh in India, helping them achieve economic independence through sustainable development programmes. To achieve this, we provided skills training in sectors such as hospitality, tourism, beauty and healthcare, tailoring, and food processing. These programs were conducted in and around the cities of Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Amethi, and Chandauli. The two-year project (2023–2024), with a total cost of US$ 400,000, was funded equally by both organizations. Donate now and be a part of it at theloombafoundation.org. #TheLoombaFoundationWork
